Education

Education is an important pillar of Varitty Impact Foundation's social-impact approach. The focus is not only on access to schooling, but also on creating conditions in which children can learn, develop confidence, build skills and prepare for future opportunities.
The Foundation's Let's Read initiative focuses on encouraging reading among children from marginalised communities. The broader development pathway is: Access → Learning → Skills → Confidence → Opportunity → Improved Quality of Life.

Health & Wellbeing
Improving health, nutrition and wellbeing, particularly among vulnerable communities.
A community cannot achieve sustainable development when children are malnourished or families lack adequate health support. Varitty Impact Foundation therefore recognises health, nutrition and wellbeing as an important dimension of its social-impact approach.
Project Poshan addresses child nutrition and malnutrition through community-oriented interventions. The Foundation's approach recognises the close relationship between nutrition, health and educational outcomes.

Financial Security & Livelihoods

People need more than access to social services. They also need opportunities to earn, manage money effectively and support themselves and their families with dignity. Economic empowerment and financial security are therefore important components of the Foundation's approach.
The Saksham initiative focuses on financial literacy, skills development, entrepreneurship, income generation and economic independence, with particular relevance to women's empowerment.

Community Resilience

Varitty Impact Foundation recognises that social wellbeing and environmental sustainability are interconnected. A community cannot be truly resilient when the natural systems on which it depends are being degraded.
Mission Mangroves focuses on protecting and rejuvenating Mumbai's mangrove ecosystem. Environmental protection contributes to ecological sustainability, biodiversity conservation, community resilience, protection of natural resources and sustainable urban development.
